Create a home folder entry

Use the following procedure to create a home folder entry.

  1. Select Authentication > Home Folders.
  2. The Home Folders page is displayed.
  3. Home Folders - Create and maintain Home Folders.
  4. Click New home Folder.
  5. A line is added to the Folders List.
  6. In the User Class field, select a user class to apply the home folder prefix only to users in that class or asterisk (*) to apply the home folder prefix to all users.
  7. In the Home Folder Prefix field, type the path name for the prefix.
  8. In the description field, type any notes you want to record about the entry.
  9. Click the Save icon (Save) in the Edit column.

The status of the new entry is disabled.
