Create an internal Datasource

An internal Datasource defines an access to a InterPlay table.

An internal or InterPlay Datasource can access any InterPlay table that stores Objects or Elements. When you create an internal Datasource, you define a standard Object Type that you declare in the internal Datasource. The property values of the Objects and Elements that you create become accessible via this Datasource.

The structure of the Datasource object is defined as follows.

  1. On the Details tab, select InterPlay table as Datasource type and enter Object Type and Element path. See Specify Datasource details.
  2. On the Column tab, add the Table columns that you want to collect the values from. Set as Filter key the column that you want to use to filter the table. See Specify Datasource columns.
