Manage a node under Windows

When installed as a service

Start the service

To start the service, execute the following command using the specific user <admin user account>.

sc start <node name>

The command checks that the service is not already running and starts the service.

Stop the service

To stop the service, execute the following command using the specific user <admin user account>.

sc stop <node name>

The command checks that the service is running before stopping it. If the node doesn't stop after a delay, an error message is displayed. In this case, stop the process manually.

Get service status

To get the status of the service, execute the following command using the specific user <admin user account>.

sc query <node name>

This command provides the status of the service (running, started, stopped, start_pending, stop_pending, paused).

Manually start the node

Start the node

To manually start the node, go to the installation path, and launch the script located under the bin directory.

cd <installation target path>\bin
tnd-start.bat

This starts the node in interactive (console) mode. Closing the console shuts down the node.

Stop the node

In the interactive (console) mode, issue the following command on the node shell (console):

g! exit 0
