Security prerequisites

When installing a cluster, follow the Security best practices and you must provide the appropriate means of securing its communications through mutual authentication. 

Cluster requirements

Important: A Certificate Authority (CA) is required to sign/create all certificates used in the cluster.

Server requirements

For each messaging server, you must provide:

  • a keystore of type JKS containing a private key and and it's certificate signed by your cluster's CA. The certificate CN must match the server host name.
  • a truststore of type JKS containing the cluster's CA.
