Hardware prerequisites

Only x86-64 architectures are supported (also known as x64 and amd64). Power and Sparc architectures are not supported.

As a consequence AIX systems are not supported.

Production environment

The production environment can be based either on physical or on virtual systems. Each node in your cluster should be deployed on a system that meets the requirements below. For example, to deploy a cluster of 3 nodes, you will need 3 of these systems.

Virtual deployment

The virtual systems used for the deployment of a cluster must be hosted in separate physical systems. Hosting them on the the same physical system would forfeit resiliency.

CPU 1x to 2x vCPU Dedicated vCPUs are highly recommended. Decision Insight Messaging System is an active application that generates a constant load.
RAM 2 GB to 8 GB RAM No ballooning, because this strongly impacts performance of the Java VM.
SAN 1+ TB on SAN - Tier 0  

PoC / Test environment

The following characteristics are required to support a proof-of-concept deployment:

These characteristics are indicative only and need to be reviewed depending on the PoC scope : volume of data, desired throughput, etc.
