Datastore implementation

The following diagram represents a typical Datastore implementation:

To implement Datastore:

  • The Business Analyst analyzes the needs, specifies the business process to use to manage the data flows, defines the configuration objects via the Designer, publishes them to the configuration repository and simulates them in a test instance of Datastore.
  • The Developer:
    • Configures and implements the technical elements (exits, services and batch processes).
    • Deploys the configuration on the Production environment when it is validated.
    • Validates them in a test instance of Datastore.
  • The Business analyst and the Business user validate the deployed configurations in the test and pre-production instances of Datastore.
  • The Operator deploys the configuration on the Production environment when it is validated.
