You can: View a list of uploaded update files Upload update files downloaded from Axway Support Apply updates to products Note You require appropriate rights to View, Upload, and Remove updates. Prerequisites You must download service packs, patches or version upgrade files for products from the Axway Support support website before you can upload files to the Central Governance update repository. For Transfer CFT 3.4 and higher, where you use the Transfer CFT installation package to perform the upgrade, Central Governance must be version 1.1.3 SP8 or higher. Any files you want to add to the repository must be on a file system that is accessible to Central Governance. Managed cloud prerequisites If users and Transfer CFTs use different hostnames for contacting Central Governance, you must set the external.fqdn parameter to the UCONF cg.host value that was used to configure the Transfer CFTs. You can access the external.fqdn parameter in the $CG_HOME/runtime/com.axway.nodes.cftconnector_node.../cft-connector.properties file. Upload and view updates Select Products > Updates to open the Update List page. The page lists all updates in the Central Governance repository. Click Upload file and select the file you want to upload to the repository. Central Governance displays a message to confirm a successful upload. Repeat the steps to upload more updates. Apply an update to a product Select Products > Updates to open the Update List page. The page lists all updates in the Central Governance update repository. Click the name of an update to open a details page. Review the information to confirm you want to apply the update to products. In that same Update details page, click Update products, in the right pane, to open the Update Products dialog. The dialog lists eligible products to apply the update. Select one or more products and click Update products. Central Governance displays a success or failure status. Once you have applied updates to products, you can do the following to monitor progress or confirm changes:Select Administration > Deployments > Updates and review the Status, Target and Item columns. Place the cursor over the status message to display the sequence of the update process.Select Products on the toolbar and review the Version column for the products. A status of Updated on the Deployment List page means the update succeeded. If an update failed, see Troubleshoot product updates for guidelines to resolve. Remove an update from the list Select Products > Updates to open the Update List page. This page lists all of the updates in the Central Governance repository. Select the update files in the repository that you want to remove. You may remove one or several update files. Click the Remove button. Central Governance displays a message to confirm the action. Click to confirm the removal, or Cancel to stop the remove process. Note The Remove button does not display if you do not have Delete privileges.
