Open B2Bi user interfaces

To manage B2Bi you can work in several different user interfaces.

  • The B2Bi Server user interface for configuring exchanges with applications and remote partners is the B2Bi user interface (Interchange)
  • The B2Bi Client development interface
  • The B2Bi Server user interface

Depending on your B2Bi installation, you may have the following additional user interfaces available:

  • Sentinel user interface, for configuring end-to-end monitoring of B2Bi exchanges
  • PassPort user interface, for managing user access
  • WebEDI Portal user interface, for managing WebEDI exchanges

Start the B2Bi user interface

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter the URL: http://[Host]:6080/ui/
  3. Where Host is the fully-qualified domain name or IP address of the computer where you installed the server.
  4. If your browser and B2Bi are on the same computer, you can use localhost.
  5. B2Bi opens the logon screen.
  6. If you are logging on for the first time, enter:
    • User ID: admin
    • Password: Secret1
Note   To enforce product security, when logging into the B2Bi user interface for the first time as the admin user, the interface requires you to change the default admin password.

Start the PassPort user interface

Prerequisite: Install and start the PassPort Server.

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter the URL: http://[Host]:6090/
  3. Where Host is the fully-qualified domain name or IP address of the computer where you installed the server.
  4. If your browser and PassPort are on the same computer, you can use localhost.
  5. The logon screen is displayed.
  6. On the log on page, in the Domain field, select Axway.
  7. If you are logging on for the first time, enter:
    • User ID: system
    • Password: System01

Start the map development environment (Mapping Services)

Prerequisite: Install the B2Bi Client from the B2Bi Client installer.

  1. From the Windows start menu select All programs > Axway Software > Axway_client_directory > Mapping Services > Start Mapping Services
  2. Enter a password. The default login is the same as the admin login in the B2Bi UI.

Start the B2Bi Integration Engine System Manager

The B2Bi Integration Engine System Manager provides you with monitoring views of the message log, the trace viewer and the integration engine queue monitor.

Prerequisite:

  • Install the B2Bi Client using the B2Bi Client installer.
  • Make sure the B2Bi Server is started.
  1. From the Windows Start menu select All Programs > Axway Software > Axway Client [Installation Name] > B2Bi Tools > B2Bi System Manager.
  2. Enter your login and password.
    You must use an account with the appropriate permissions for System Manager tool access. Ask your B2Bi administrator for valid login credentials.

Start the Sentinel user interface

Prerequisite: Install and start the Sentinel Server. 

  1. Open your preferred Internet browser
  2. In the browser address field, enter:
  3. HTTP://Server:Port/index.html
  4. Where:
    • Server: Network identification name or IP address of Sentinel Server. If the Sentinel Server runs on the same machine as the Sentinel user interfaces, do not enter localhost.
    • Port: Port that Sentinel uses to load the Interfaces file. This port is defined in the <Service="HTTP"> element of the trkserver.xml file. By default, this port is 1309.
  5. The Sentinel home page is displayed. This page includes links to the following Sentinel user interfaces:
    • Administration: Enables administrators to manage user access and resource use for the Monitoring and Correlation interfaces.
    • Monitoring: Enables users to create and manage Requests.
    • Correlation: Enables users to create and manage Correlation Rules.
    • Dashboard Viewer: Enables users to monitor the status of tracked applications via dashboard views.
  6. Select a user interface.
  7. When you start a user interface for the first time, Sentinel displays the default user Admin in the User field. This user is predefined and manages user access to the Sentinel user interfaces. By default, the password for this user is Admin. To limit access to the administrative features of Sentinel, modify this password.
