Use the pickup and delivery search tools

When you have a large number of pickups or deliveries (application or trading) to manage, it is useful to use the search tool in the pickups or deliveries pages to find and display a filtered list of pickups.

The search tool is located in the left panel of the pickups and deliveries pages. If the search panel is hidden, click the SHOW/HIDE tab to display it. By default, the page lists all of the current community's trading or application pickups.

You can launch searches that use any combination of the following criteria:

  • Delivery name – The "friendly" name you attributed to the pickup or delivery when you created it.
  • Protocol – The pickup or delivery messaging protocol.
  • Transport protocol – The pickup or delivery transport-level protocol. This can include non-packaged type protocols such as:
    • HTTP
    • FTP
    • SFTP
    • File system
    • JMS
    • IBM MQSeries
    • Pluggable Server
  • Location – Where "location" means either the directory location for polling type pickups, or the network address for client/server type connection pickups.
  • Status – Any/enabled/disabled

You can use wildcard characters "*" and "?" for searches. You can combine wildcards with partial names.

To filter for search results that return every instance of a criteria, use either the asterisk wildcard character (*), or use the syntax: [ANY]. Note that you must use the opening and closing brackets around ANY, or the search will return no results.

Searches are not case sensitive.
