Activator 5.12 Administrator Guide System events Activator generates, publishes and routes defined events related to system activity Events are published in various ways: in log files, on the user interface and by email. These are events as cataloged in Event tables. The events.xml file describes how events are published to log files and JMS routers. The alerts.xml file describes publishing events about Activator to the user interface and by e-mail. The events.xml and alerts.xml files have default settings for publishing events without user intervention. Both files, however, are configurable to expand or reduce the volume of published events.
