An Entity includes: one Composer interface, the associated repository and associated server one or more AccountingIntegrator Rule Engines that you configure in the Topography workbench Each Entity is made up of Folders that are similar to standard Windows folders or directories. Folders provide separate, distinct workplaces for storing and defining objects. The existence of independent Folders allows users to group objects together, for example, all the objects related to a single project, or all the objects defined by one user. Purpose of the Entity Browser The Entity Browser lists all objects to which you have authorized access in the Composer repository. The Browser provides a search tool that enables you to locate objects quickly, depending on the criteria that you specify. You can search for objects created by a particular user, or objects with a given life cycle status. You can also restrict the search to a specific object type or to a given Folder. Use the Entity Browser to: duplicate objects via copy and paste move objects between Folders via drag-and-drop filter objects to display only a subset of objects of the selected type find objects and replace object attributes Using the Entity Browser Whereas the left pane only provides access to authorized WorkFolders in the local Entity, the Entity Browser also provides access to all the PrebuiltFolders in the local Entity.
