Balancing-Rule

Definition

A Balancing-Rule is a mechanism to check the data in the generated Output-Events against certain criteria. This enables you to reject Output-Events which fail the verification.

Characteristics

Balancing check code: Enables you to select the Input-Event segments to include in the balancing check

Several balancing check levels are available in the Transformation-Rule to select the Output-Events to include in the balancing check:

All Output-Events generated by the transformation of ... If the balancing check fails, AccountingIntegrator Enabler...

An Input-Event segment by a Rule

Places the segment in anomaly

segments in an Input-Event instance

Rejects the Input-Event instance

segments in an  Input-Event group

Rejects the Input-Event group

You can define several balance sets. The balancing check is only satisfied if each of the balance sets are in balance.

Output-Events must be associated with Processing-Context-Outs in order to activate the balancing check.
