Opening the configuration file

Using a standard text editor, open the configuration file located in the data library of the AccountingIntegrator Enabler  Rule Engine environment:

  • rdjstn.ini (UNIX and Windows)
  • rdjstn.seq (MVS)

The name of the subdirectory that contains the file is:

  • <RDJ_EXEC>.datlib (MVS)
  • <RDJ_EXEC>\dat (UNIX)
  • <RDJ_EXEC>/dat (Windows)

Verifying the configuration

Verify that the Sentinel AccountingIntegrator Enabler agent is configured to send Tracked Instances to the correct Sentinel Servers. If necessary, modify this file.

Identifying the Sentinel Server

The configuration file includes one section for each of the following types of Tracked Instances that AccountingIntegrator Enabler  Rule Engine can send:

  • RDJSession
  • RDJRaz
  • RDJMaj

In each of these sections, set the HostName and PortNumber parameters to identify the Sentinel Server that receives the relevant Tracked Instances.

The following table shows the default ports used by Sentinel Server:
