Enrichment-Rule: General tab

Complete the fields on the General tab as follows.

Field Contents

Name

(Mandatory)

Enter a mandatory name for the Enrichment-Rule. This is the logical name that is used to reference the Enrichment-Rule object throughout the software.

You can enter up to five alphanumeric characters which must respect the naming conventions.

Note: A root folder cannot contain a Transformation-Rule and an Enrichment-Rule of the same name.

Version

(Mandatory)

The Version is a numeric reference that you enter manually to designate which version of a given Enrichment-Rule this represents. [FOR DETAILS Versions and validity periods]

Label

Enter an optional free-text description for the Enrichment-Rule. This text appears in the Entity Browser (Label field) and as a tooltip when you position the cursor over the Enrichment-Rule object.

Status

This field displays the current status of the Enrichment-Rule, set to ToBeChecked by default. You cannot directly change the status in this field. [FOR DETAILS: life cycle and statuses]

Business-Document

(Mandatory)

The Business-Document that you select here defines the format of the segments that this Enrichment-Rule modifies.

From the drop-down list, select a Business-Document to associate with this Enrichment-Rule. Composer displays the selected Business-Document in the Mapping Rule tab.

If you change the Business-Document, AccountingIntegrator Enabler displays the warning message: "Selected Business-Document has been changed. Do you want to keep compatible mapping rules?" The following table explains the implications when you answer Yes or No to this message.

Yes

Only deletes those Mapping Rules in the Enrichment-Rule that are not compatible with the new format.

Compatible fields must have the same name, but can have different data types or definitions.

In addition, if you have already selected a Mapping-Template, AccountingIntegrator Enabler unselects this Mapping-Template when you change the Business-Document.

No

  • Deletes all existing Mapping Rules in the Enrichment-Rule
  • Reinitializes the mapping expressions in those fields with the default value associated with the field data class.

Mapping-Template

From the drop-down list, select a Mapping-Template to use with this Enrichment-Rule.

The Mapping-Template automatically applies a set of predefined expressions to designated Business-Document  nodes.

If you change the Mapping-Template, AccountingIntegrator Enabler displays the warning message: " "Selected Mapping-Template has been changed. Do you want to keep existing mapping rules and set the new Mapping-Template as the default?"". The following table explains the implications when you answer Yes or No to this message.

The Enrichment-Rule adopts as its own the mappings it initially inherited . The colour of the mapping changes from green to black.

The Enrichment-Rule retains the existing mappings.

No

AccountingIntegrator Enabler deletes all the existing mappings and takes into account the new Mapping-Template.

Validity periods

Any given version of an Enrichment-Rule is only valid and applicable during a specific time period, referred to as the validity period.

To define this period, you specify its start date and end date, as follows.

Start date

Use to set the start and end dates of the validity period.

End date
