Install with custom options

Follow the procedure in this page if you wish to :

  • install AI Suite Studio on a directory or system outside the Accounting Integration Suite installation, and/or
  • use a different Web server than the one offered with AI Suite, and/or
  • use a database for the Repository other than the internal Axway database

Start the installation

Start the installation as indicated in AI Suite Studio installation parameters

Installation directory

Note   This product does not support installation in a path containing spaces.

It is recommended to install AI Suite Studio in the same directory as the root folder of the AIS installation, for example: \AxwayInstall\<AIS_installation_name>\. If, however, you want to install in a different folder the procedure will change a little, and you will have to provide:

Select products

Select the AI Suite Studio product to install. To set the installation options for a product, click the arrow to the right of the product name and select the installation option from the drop-down list.

Web server installation directory

Select the installation directory for the web server.

  • Infrastructure services: this is the recommended option.
  • If you choose External server then you have to give the path to the web server’s context directory. On the Web Server page, for the web server’s context/ directory, point to the contexts/ folder of the external server.
Note   Only the Tomcat Web server is supported.

AI Suite Studio component settings

Component name – Name of the component to be installed, default is AISuiteStudio.

Component URL - The URL to access the AI Suite Studio application. It will be read from Repository and used by other components to access the AI Suite Studio application.

Repository database type

Selects the external database that Repository will use.

  • Oracle - default
  • MySQL
  • MS SQL Server

Repository database options

  • Verify database configuration – Default option. Select this option if the database connection should be tested after setting its configuration. If selected, the database configuration made in the following screen will be tested before going any further with the installation.
  • Use custom URL - select this option if the database configuration needs to be done with a custom URL. If selected, a custom URL configuration will be asked in the next screen. Otherwise the classic database configuration will be proposed.

After the installation is finished

If you installed on a different directory than the AI Suite installation, then you should:

  1. From an AIS installation, copy the file truststorePassPort.jks from [installation_path]\AIS\Tools\config\certs\truststorePassPort.jks to the machine where the AI Suite Studio is installed, preferable inside the AI Suite Studio installation folder
  2. Edit the Web server context for AI Suite Studio in the file[web server install folder]\contexts\aistudio-web.xml and edit the value of TrustStorePath so that it points to the newly copied truststorePassPort.jks file. For example:
    TrustStorePath="D:\Axway2\AISuiteStudio\truststorePassPort.jks"
